So, let me let you in on a few things about me. I'm an unhappily unemployed housewife, married to a giant man kid. That means I'm broke. All the time. But I'm used to it, as even when I was happily working, I was still broke.
All of this being broke led to me discovering the joys of generic products, though. Picking through the various hits and misses from Dollar General, Dollar Tree, and the like. I can honestly say that most of the time, especially with the unhealthy processed food that everyone loves to hate, the generic is better. Same with most of the cleaning supplies.
But anyway, I love cheap things. Makeup, food, cleaning stuff... and I love doing reviews. So, nine times out of ten, if I'm doing a review in the future, its for something from a dollar joint or a drug store, because I'm not willing to pay 30 bucks for a small pot of eye shadow that I can get a dupe for for a buck, damnit. And I don't care if the real Pine Sol is only a dollar fifty more, I'd rather use the dollar bottle because it's cheaper and smells more piney.
